Job summary

South University seeks a Nursing faculty member to instruct and facilitate meaningful learning in the curriculum. The role involves online and on-campus instruction, development of lesson plans, and supporting student success in a dynamic learning environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s in Nursing with teaching or post-secondary experience, and an active nursing license. A master’s degree is preferred, with proficiency in LMS and Microsoft Office to support diverse learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nursing required; MSN, DNP or PhD preferred.
• Teaching/instruction experience in higher education or post-secondary education.
• Active, valid nursing licensure or certification as applicable.
• Experience with university guidelines and academic terminology.
• Proficiency with online learning environments and LMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and facilitate meaningful learning of course outcomes.
• Develop instructional plans to meet course outcomes and online shell delivery.
• Utilize technology in the classroom to support student learning.
• Deliver instruction that aligns with curriculum and delivery model.
• Maintain accurate records, grades and attendance policies.
• Contribute to faculty development and curriculum improvement.
• Engage students and foster a culture of respect and lifelong learning.
• Collaborate with supervisor, faculty, and administrators.
