Job summary

Colonial Group seeks an Activities Supervisor to oversee daily recreation staff and implement engaging programs aligned with resident care plans. You will organize intergenerational, music, arts, and modified activities, manage calendars, budgets, and reporting, and lead teams through events and excursions.

Successful candidates will have strong communication, teamwork, and technology skills, plus a high school diploma or higher, with a preferred Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• Proficient with standard technologies and tools used in activities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, evaluating, and promoting programs and services.
• Prepare annual budget records, reports, and activity documentation.
• Create, implement and evaluate social, recreational, and educational programs.
• Produce monthly activities calendar and caregiver communications.
• Develop and report on recreation and activity budget monthly.
• Lead teams during projects, activities, and excursions.
• Facilitate all aspects of activity programs from planning to post-launch review.
• Coach, recruit, train, and discipline staff; supervise events.
