Qualifications

• Master's degree with accounting coursework as specified.
• Alternative master’s with 12+ accounting credits allowed.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or professional certification.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and report student performance per policies.
• Meet minimum faculty standards for hire and retention.
• Promote, develop, and deliver quality programs to retain students.
• Prepare and deliver engaging instruction aligned with outcomes.
• Use strategies for varied student backgrounds and needs.
• Provide timely, meaningful feedback to students.
• Maintain an inclusive, respectful classroom environment.
• Demonstrate IWCC's mission, vision and values.
• Post syllabus, record attendance, and maintain gradebooks in the LMS.
• Complete required reports and assess learning outcomes each term.
• Organize and teach labs as directed by the dean.
• Participate in professional development and trainings.
• Exhibit professionalism and integrity; be available to students outside class.
