Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of teaching experience, preferably with middle school-aged students.
• BA or higher in Science or Math fields, or closely related field of study.
• Experience facilitating or co-facilitating an advisory group.
• Demonstrated passion for working with young people.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
• Willingness to contribute to school life beyond the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan, and deliver curricula meeting K-12 scope and sequence goals.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials for the classroom.
• Guide and support student learning with appropriate differentiation.
• Consult with administrators to support student growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues and maintain professional communication.
• Regularly assess student progress and provide narrative feedback.
