Job summary

Uplift Education in Dallas seeks an educator to deliver rigorous instruction within the International Baccalaureate framework and the Uplift curriculum. You will plan lessons, assess student progress, and engage families to support learning excellence.

You will collaborate with teams to align curricula, participate in professional development, and maintain a positive, orderly classroom environment that fosters student growth and achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Master's degree preferred but not required.
• Must have valid Texas Teacher Certification or be enrolled in an Uplift designated certification course.
• HB 3 Reading Academies training by the end of the 2022-2023 school year.

Responsibilities

• Arrives at school 15 minutes before carpool and is available for assigned duties.
• Stays at school until the time designated by School Director/Managing Director or as business necessitates.
• Participates in school-wide and individual professional development, including the 2-3 week summer session.
• Attends and participates in all staff meetings.
• Performs duties including bus, morning, lunch, and after noon duties.
• Chaperones field lessons and field trips.
• Abides by all state and federal mandates in reporting abuse and neglect.
• Upholds the code of conduct and school policies.
• Maintains positive professional school culture.
• Models behavior within the code of conduct.
• Supports and follows directives of campus administrators.
• Clerical, instructional, and behavioral support for scholars as needed.
• Enrolled in and complete all Texas Reading Academies Training.
