Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education required; master's preferred.
• Previous teaching experience a plus.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certification or enrollment in Uplift designated certification course.
• HB3 Reading Academies training by end of the 2022-2023 school year.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Creates rigorous and engaging lesson plans aligned with Uplift and IB standards.
• Plans and delivers instruction, assessments, and data-driven instruction.
• Maintains a productive, safe, and respectful classroom environment; supports scholars.
