Job summary

Tennessee State University invites applications for the role of Program Assistant 4-H Youth Development in Lawrence County. The successful candidate will join TSU and the Lawrence County Extension team to run 4-H programs, clubs, workshops, camps and events at the county level.

Responsibilities include implementing, evaluating and reporting on programs, coordinating activities across clubs and classes, and working with Extension staff to achieve County, Regional, and State goals.

Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with youth development activities preferred.
• Ability to plan and evaluate programs and report outcomes.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends.
• Must have access to a personal vehicle and Tennessee driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Implement, evaluate, and report 4-H Youth Development programs in the county.
• Execute programs, events, clubs, camps, workshops, and special classes.
• Collaborate with UT and TSU Extension staff and partners.
• Document and communicate program impacts; assist with marketing efforts.
