Job summary

Shaw Industries in Dalton, GA is seeking a Dyeing/Kuster Lead for the Monday–Friday 3pm–11pm shift. You will assist the shift supervisor, train new line staff, and focus on quality improvements across the Kuster operations.

The role requires strong color-matching skills, color testing (Munsell), basic computer use, and the ability to coordinate production by color sequencing. This is a hands-on leadership position supporting industrial dyeing processes.

Responsibilities

• Verify procedures on the line to ensure correct job execution.
• Inspect dyed rolls and maintain required reports.
• Conduct on-the-job training for new line employees.
• Provide directions and guidance to line personnel.
• Assist in color matching by visual inspection.
• Line up production by speed groups and color sequencing.
• Fill in for the supervisor when needed and keep areas clean.
