Responsibilities

• Inspect carpet for defects
• Obtain shade patch for supervisor to review
• Fill out correct information in the computer for each roll and print tickets
• Hold rolls and report quality problems to the Supervisor
• Report production through Shopflex
• Fill out Inspection reports/records
• Fill out Department "Stop Cards" for all line stops on carpet
• Monitor width and carpet dampness; communicate up the line if issues occur; determine correct changeover length to be removed and enter it accordingly
• Physically measure carpet width once per shop order and record results in Shopflex
• Assist in keeping work areas in a clean and orderly
