Job summary

Power Plus is seeking a Shop Worker/DVS Field Technician to maintain the shop and yard, build and repair field equipment, and support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Power Plus Designed Video Surveillance (DVS) systems across construction and commercial environments.

The role covers both new installations and takeovers of existing surveillance systems, with focus on structured cabling, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring reliable transmission to the monitoring central station.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of low-voltage wiring and terminations.
• Experience with field service or maintenance.
• Ability to operate forklift safely.
• Strong safety awareness and OSHA-compliant practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians as needed.
• Build and repair DVS equipment.
• Maintain shop and yard cleanliness daily.
• Maintain trailers; manage inventory as needed.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards when handling equipment.
• Test and troubleshoot video alarm events and signaling paths.
