Job summary

LG Electronics seeks a DVLED Project Engineer II in Illinois to lead on‑site installations of DirectView LED displays, guiding system integration partners from site visit to final sign‑off.

You will solve real‑time challenges, optimize installation workflows, and ensure LG’s quality standards are met, while partnering with customers, sales, and cross‑functional teams. The role requires 5–7 years of DVLED experience, strong technical and communication skills, and travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands‑on DirectView LED installation experience.
• Deep understanding of DVLED technology, mounting systems, LED module handling, and installation best practices.
• Proficiency with NovaStar and Megapixel LED display controllers and related configuration.
• Ability to read and interpret A/V, electrical, and mechanical drawings.
• Comfort traveling up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Drive project success by coordinating with Project Managers and System Integration Partners to keep installations on schedule.
• Train installation teams and LG personnel on installation and product operations.
• Serve as LG's on‑site technical expert and liaison between customers, sales, and partners.
• Troubleshoot installation and system integration issues with Technical Engineering teams.
• Assess site readiness and verify conditions, safety, and BOMs prior to work.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and daily status reports.
• Provide technical insights to influence next‑gen DVLED product improvements.
• Represent LG at industry events with technical expertise and product setup.
• Provide remote technical support when onsite is not required.
