Job summary

LG Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer II to lead on-site DVLED installations and act as the primary technical authority from site visit to final sign‑off.

You will work with System Integration teams, customers, and cross‑functional colleagues to convert complex designs into world‑class visual experiences. This field‑level role offers exposure to cutting‑edge LED technology, leadership of high-profile installations, and travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in EET or related field.
• 5–7 years hands-on DirectView LED installation experience.
• Knowledge of DVLED technology, mounting systems, LED module handling and installation best practices.
• Understanding of NovaStar and Megapixel LED controllers, including configuration, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Smartsheet, Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp or Visio.
• Ability to read and interpret A/V, electrical, and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of IT, networking, and A/V system integration.
• Excellent communication, time management and decision‑making skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and lift/move heavy equipment.
• Safety-conscious with familiarity with site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site DVLED installations as LG's technical representative.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Partners to keep installations on schedule.
• Train installation teams on product operation and best practices.
• Troubleshoot installation, configuration, and system integration issues.
• Ensure site readiness, safety, and infrastructure adequacy before work begins.
• Verify BOMs, inventory, and shipping documentation prior to installation.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and daily status reports.
• Provide technical insights for next-gen DVLED product improvements.
