Job summary

LG Electronics in Chicago is seeking an experienced Project Engineer II to lead on-site DVLED installations, serving as the primary on-site technical authority for system integration partners and customers.

You will optimize installation workflows, troubleshoot complex issues, train installation teams, and ensure site safety and LG quality across multiple locations, with up to 75% travel. This role requires strong drawing literacy, IT/networking knowledge, and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as LG's primary on-site technical representative for DVLED installations.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and System Integration Partners to keep installations on schedule and efficient.
• Provide installation and product operation training for system integrators, technicians, and LG personnel.
• Troubleshoot installation, configuration, and system integration issues with cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate installation environments for site readiness, safety, and infrastructure requirements.
• Verify inventory, BOMs, shipping docs, and equipment prior to installation.
• Maintain project documentation and daily status reports throughout the lifecycle.
• Offer technical insights to influence next-gen DVLED products and represent customer needs to PM teams.
• Support product demonstrations and customer events with technical expertise.
