Catholic Charities Wichita seeks a DCF DV/SA Case Manager to oversee daily operations of the Harbor House Shelter-related welfare advocacy project across a 25-county service area. The role emphasizes client safety planning, outreach, and closing the gap to essential services.

The position requires an undergraduate degree in social work or related field and at least two years of experience with low-income families, with preference for DV/SA experience.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in social work or related field.
• Two years of experience working with low-income individuals and families as case manager.
• Professional experience or training in counseling, domestic violence, sexual assault, economically disadvantaged, or other social issues.
• Preference to those with DV/SA services experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct advocacy services to TANF and Non-TANF participants, including screening, planning, intake counseling, safety planning, referrals, and economic advocacy.
• Provide training to community partners and DCF Service Centers to promote SAFE Project materials and DV/SA knowledge.
• Participate in community outreach events to promote program awareness and access to DV/SA participants.
• Present SAFE Project curriculum and engage participants at orientations and community locations.
• Plan and facilitate classes or support groups to improve life skills and healthy relationships.
• Coordinate resources with a focus on underserved populations and develop relationships to access safe housing, mental health care, and crisis services.
• Maintain professional contacts with community partners and document client needs.
• Maintain and update calendars with appointments and commitments; schedule meetings with colleagues and partners.
• Enter program demographic and service data and complete monthly reports for DCF.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
