Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure safe, clean, and friendly facilities across our centres. You will be responsible for upholding service standards and safety protocols, supporting a welcoming guest experience, and participating in a rota-based schedule.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• Competent swimmer – swim test will be part of interview.
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and all levels of staff.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team orientated approach, able to work across organisation boundaries.
• Flexible and able to understand instructions from managers.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.

In the role of Lifeguard, you will ensure the best levels of service are achieved for our customers through offering a friendly, clean and safe facilities.

Hours: 15 hours a week, Monday - Sunday (rota basis)

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• Competent swimmer – swim test will need to be completed as part of the interview process.
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out
• An ability and understanding of how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and also to all levels of staff.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team orientated approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues.
• To be able to work flexibly and understand instructions from managers.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.
