Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Durham, NC for a contract-to-hire role. The position covers preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, roofing, HVAC, and grounds care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; technical trade school preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, roofing, HVAC, grounds care)
• Complete work orders and inspections; document in CMMS
• Maintain safety standards and quality of service in a fast-paced environment
• Troubleshoot issues and perform proactive problem-solving to minimize downtime
