Job summary

Allan Myers, Inc is seeking a Class B CDL driver to join our elite team. This night-shift, non-exempt role transports construction materials to customer sites, stays local, and returns home after every shift.

You will perform pre/post trip inspections, maintain logs, and coordinate with dispatch to meet schedules. We offer a sign-on bonus and competitive pay with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of construction site experience.
• Valid Class B CDL required.
• One year of CDL driving with GVW 33,000+ pounds required.
• Dump truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre/post trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and identify damage.
• Pickup materials (dirt, stone, asphalt), haul to job sites and deliver as directed.
• Maintain a truck log per state/federal regulations and company policy.
• Communicate with dispatcher to follow delivery schedule and report issues promptly.
• Comply with truck maintenance, cleanliness and repair guidelines.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.

Allan Myers is looking for an ambitious and dedicated Class B CDL driver to join our elite team of drivers. Enjoy best-in-industry benefits and great pay. Our drivers remain local and return home safely after every shift. (Night-Shift)

This non-exempt position is dispatched to transport construction materials to customer or various job site locations. Conducts all work in accordance with Allan Myers policies, procedures, and programs.

• Makes daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle to maintain maximum vehicle safety conditions and to check for any damaged or work parts or for any signs of tampering.
• Pickup materials (dirt, stone, or asphalt), haul to jobsite locations and deliver materials. Repeat process as needed in a safe and timely manner as directed.
• Maintains a truck log in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.
• Communicates regularly with dispatcher to ensure that delivery schedule is being followed and that any problems with traffic or with site conditions are reported promptly
• Complies with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair in accordance with the guidelines specified in the Truck Driver's Handbook.
• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.

Hourly Range

$25.00 - $30.00, based on experience.

• One year of CDL driving in a vehicle with a GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater is required.
