Job summary

Allan Myers, Inc. is seeking a Class B CDL driver to join our local driver team. This night-shift role involves transporting construction materials to various job sites, with home time after shifts.

We offer competitive pay ($25.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience) and a sign-on bonus of $2,500 for qualified candidates. A High School diploma and CDL are required, with prior dump truck experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience on construction sites.
• Valid Class B CDL required.
• One year of CDL driving in a vehicle with GVW 33,000 pounds or greater is required.
• Previous dump truck experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive dump truck to transport materials to job sites and back home safely.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections.
• Maintain a truck log per state and federal regulations.
• Communicate with dispatcher to follow delivery schedules and report issues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Allan Myers is looking for an ambitious and dedicated Class B CDL driver to join our elite team of drivers. Enjoy best-in-industry benefits and great pay. Our drivers remain local and return home safely after every shift. (Night-Shift)

This non-exempt position is dispatched to transport construction materials to customer or various job site locations. Conducts all work in accordance with Allan Myers policies, procedures, and programs.

• Makes daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle to maintain maximum vehicle safety conditions and to check for any damaged or work parts or for any signs of tampering.
• Pickup materials (dirt, stone, or asphalt), haul to jobsite locations and deliver materials. Repeat process as needed in a safe and timely manner as directed.
• Maintains a truck log in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.
• Communicates regularly with dispatcher to ensure that delivery schedule is being followed and that any problems with traffic or with site conditions are reported promptly
• Complies with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair in accordance with the guidelines specified in the Truck Driver's Handbook.
• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.

Hourly Range

$25.00 - $30.00, based on experience.
