A leading heavy civil construction firm is seeking a dedicated Class B CDL driver to join their elite team. This non-exempt night-shift role involves transporting construction materials to various job-site locations. Responsibilities include conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining logs in compliance with regulations, and communicating with dispatchers about delivery schedules. The ideal candidate holds a valid Class B CDL and has 1-2 years of experience in construction settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience on construction sites.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License required.
• One year of CDL driving in a vehicle with a GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater is required.
• Previous dump truck experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Makes daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle to maintain maximum vehicle safety.
• Pickup materials, haul to job-site locations, and deliver materials.
• Maintains a truck log in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Communicates regularly with dispatcher to ensure delivery schedule is followed.
• Complies with truck maintenance and cleanliness guidelines.
• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.

Job description

Allan Myers is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Class B CDL driver for our elite team of drivers. This non‑exempt role is dispatched to transport construction materials to customer or various job‑site locations. Drivers remain local and return home safely after every shift. Night‑Shift.

Hourly Range

$25.00 - $30.00, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Makes daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle to maintain maximum vehicle safety conditions and to check for any damaged or work parts or for any signs of tampering.
• Pickup materials (dirt, stone, or asphalt), haul to job‑site locations and deliver materials. Repeat process as needed in a safe and timely manner as directed.
• Maintains a truck log in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.
• Communicates regularly with dispatcher to ensure that delivery schedule is being followed and that any problems with traffic or with site conditions are reported promptly.
• Complies with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair in accordance with the guidelines specified in the Truck Driver's Handbook.
• Performs other job‑related duties as required or assigned.
