Job summary

Allan Myers, Inc. is seeking a Class B CDL driver to join our local driving team. You will transport construction materials to customer sites and return home safely after every shift, with night hours.

Responsibilities

• Maks daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle to ensure safety and detect damage.
• Pickup materials (dirt, stone, asphalt) and haul to job sites; deliver material as directed.
• Maintain a truck log in compliance with state/federal regulations and company policy.
• Communicate regularly with dispatcher to ensure schedule adherence and report traffic/site issues.
• Comply with truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repairs per Truck Driver's Handbook.
• Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.

Allan Myers is looking for an ambitious and dedicated Class B CDL driver to join our elite team of drivers. Enjoy best-in-industry benefits and great pay. Our drivers remain local and return home safely after every shift. (Night-Shift)

This non-exempt position is dispatched to transport construction materials to customer or various job site locations. Conducts all work in accordance with Allan Myers policies, procedures, and programs.

Responsibilties:

• Makes daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle to maintain maximum vehicle safety conditions and to check for any damaged or work parts or for any signs of tampering.
• Pickup materials (dirt, stone, or asphalt), haul to jobsite locations and deliver materials. Repeat process as needed in a safe and timely manner as directed.
• Maintains a truck log in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.
• Communicates regularly with dispatcher to ensure that delivery schedule is being followed and that any problems with traffic or with site conditions are reported promptly
• Complies with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair in accordance with the guidelines specified in the Truck Driver's Handbook.
• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.

Hourly Range:

$25.00 - $30.00, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience on construction sites.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License is required
• One year of CDL driving in a vehicle with a GVW of 33,000 pounds or greater is required.
• Previous dump truck experience is preferred.
