At C-2 Utility Contractors, as a Dump Truck Driver/Laborer on our Telecom Underground team, you’ll participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, driving, and transporting various construction materials to and from the job site, along with various general laborer duties.

What you’ll do as a Laborer

• Safely transport equipment and materials to various job sites
• Load, unload, and secure cargo according to DOT and company standards
• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
• Install underground telecommunications cabling
• Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas
• Communicate clearly with team members
• Complete daily production reports
• Assist with site restoration
• Work in all weather conditions
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• Be 18 years or older
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience
• Experience with hand tools and utility trucks preferred
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (tanker endorsement preferred)

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote/confined spaces, operate vehicles/heavy machinery, handle arms above shoulder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift >55 lbs
• Occasionally: use ladders

Salary Range: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
