Join Our Team as a CDL Driver at AA Asphalting LLC!

With over 45 years of experience, AA Asphalting LLC is the Northwest's leading asphalt & concrete restoration provider. We serve public utilities, general contractors, government agencies, private businesses, and more, delivering quality workmanship at competitive prices.

We pride ourselves on service and quality, and are seeking dedicated, motivated professionals to join our Vancouver team. We are looking for a hardworking driver who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in completing jobs safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle, trailer, and equipment, completing checklists in Fleetio.
2. Load and unload equipment safely, always utilizing assistance and ensuring correct securing on trailers.
3. Practice safe driving at all times, following all safety regulations and using spotters when necessary.
4. Recognize mechanical issues and report them to the appropriate personnel, taking action to secure equipment if needed.
5. Ensure materials are loaded safely and transported efficiently to job sites and plants.
6. Navigate using GPS to reach job sites and material sources promptly.
7. Spread and dump gravel efficiently, and position truck as directed for paver operation.
8. Perform general labor duties as needed and directed.
9. Provide daily material tickets to the Foreman.
10. Maintain cleanliness of trucks and equipment, including spraying trailers and practicing good housekeeping.
11. Ensure trucks are fueled each night.
12. Follow all safety rules, regulations, and PPE requirements.

Requirements:

1. Must possess a CDL Class A license.
2. Ability to use GPS devices effectively.
3. Adherence to DOT requirements and traffic laws.
4. Ability to work as part of a team.
5. Willingness to work weekends and occasional nights.
6. Flexibility to travel to various worksites.
7. Ability to work long hours in all weather conditions.
