Qualifications

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (tanker endorsement preferred).

At C-2 Utility Contractors, as a Dump Truck Driver/Laborer on our Telecom Underground team, you’ll participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, driving, and transporting various construction materials to and from the job site, along with various general laborer duties.

What you’ll do as a Laborer

  • Safely transport equipment and materials to various job-sites throughout the surrounding areas
  • Loading, unloading, and securing all cargo in accordance with DOT and company standards
  • Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
  • Install underground telecommunications cabling
  • Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas
  • Clearly communicate with all team members
  • Complete daily production reports
  • Help with site restoration efforts
  • Perform work in all weather conditions
  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
  • Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks is preferred
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (tanker endorsement preferred)

Physical abilities & exposures

  • Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift greater than 55 pounds
  • Occasionally: use ladder

Salary Range: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
