Job summary

Bituminous Roadways, Inc. is seeking a Dump Truck Driver to haul asphalt and aggregates to/from job sites and plants. Position requires strict DOT compliance, safety adherence, and timely deliveries in a dynamic construction setting.

The role includes pre/post-trip inspections, secure loading, and coordinating with dispatch to maintain schedules. CDL Class A or B with air brakes, clean driving record, and 1–2 years of truck experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass a thorough Background Check, Physical and Drug Test.
• References may be checked. E-Verify participation.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dump truck to transport asphalt and aggregates between plant, sites, and designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT and company rules.
• Safely load/unload materials with proper weight distribution and secure loads.
• Deliver asphalt on time, coordinating with foremen and plant operators to meet schedules.
• Maintain communication with dispatch for load assignments and updates.
• Maneuver truck safely in tight job site conditions and back into pavers.
• Keep accurate driver logs and delivery tickets.
• Report accidents, injuries, or mechanical faults promptly.
• Communicate clearly with Truck Dispatch, Foremen and Supervisors.
• Stay on schedule with load times; avoid delays.
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of the truck as needed.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE use, speed limits, and traffic control at sites.
• Assist with other duties to support paving and plant operations.
