Job summary

ST BERNARDS MEDICAL CENTER is hiring a Dual Specialty Cath Lab RN - EP Lab Holding RN for a full-time day shift (Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm). This role requires current Arkansas RN licensure and a nursing degree (ADN/BSN/ASN).

The nurse will assess and care for cath lab patients, with call requirements and safety policies in place. Experience: 1 year of nursing experience preferred, familiarity with hospital policies, and ability to operate technical equipment in a fast-paced cath lab setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, diploma, or BSN in nursing required.
• Current RN licensure in Arkansas.
• Minimum age 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on a daily basis.
• Handle one shift under supervision; overtime/call-back may be required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Skill and proficiency in applying highly technical principles, concepts, and techniques which are central to the nursing profession. Such proficiency is acquired through completion of an Associate degree, diploma, or Baccalaureate degree program in nursing. Knowledge of human growth and development necessary for assessment, range of treatment and care of patients appropriate to the patient’s age as acquired through formal educational course work. Current licensure or permit as a registered nurse in the state of Arkansas.

Experience

One year nursing experience required. Knowledge of hospital and department policies and procedures, patient care procedures; ability to operate technical equipment as acquired through orientation.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for assessing, analyzing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients on a daily basis. Under the general supervision of the Director, Patient Care Manager, Assistant Patient Care Manager, and Registered Nurse in charge, responsible for 1 shift. Incumbents are subject to overtime and call-back as required by the hospital.
