Essential Job Functions
  • Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Rivers Core Values at all times
  • Practice teamwork, support fellow Team Members, and create an energized, positive work atmosphere
  • Maintain grooming and uniform standards. Overall appearance is to be immaculate and nametags are to be worn at all times, and ensure that the Security Department Team adhere to the same standards
  • Provides exceptional customer service to guests at all times
  • Be aware of and handle guest opportunities
  • Serve as fill in for management when needed to cover shift.
  • Maintains a safety program to ensure all team members have a safe work environment
  • Conducts pre-shift meetings on a timely basis to communicate key property and departmental information
  • Assist in building a friendly attitude among the EVS team by setting a consistent example of hands-on, leads by example hospitality towards internal and external guests
  • Provide input and resolution concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention in order to maintain highest levels of operation with staffing
  • Build an effective team of qualified and productive personnel to achieve positive departmental results
  • Staying up-to-date on new products and materials for continuous operational improvements
  • Maintains the approved preventative maintenance program on all equipment
  • Completes necessary reports in a timely manner to meet deadlines
  • Maintains an inspection program for all EVS responsible areas
  • Proficiently utilizes program to submit, track, and follow-up on work orders
  • Conducts inspections on all casino and non-gaming EVS areas
  • Must be properly trained on all equipment and chemicals
  • Handle calls from other departments and pass on information accordingly
  • Must be able to make decisions regarding coverage of sections; handle guest complaints
  • When inspecting areas also look to ensure staff are performing daily task properly with chemicals
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong time management skills.
  • Ability to have properly communicate using radios
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
Physical and Mental Demands
  • Regularly required to see, talk, hear; walk and stand.
  • Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to sit; or stoop.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Gaming floor has smoking sections must be able to work in smoke environment.
