Job summary

The Blanchard Institute in Charlotte, NC seeks a Licensed Clinician to serve as Clinical Assessor and Therapist. You will perform admissions assessments, staff treatment placements, and provide comprehensive therapy, including family and group sessions.

You will document care, plan treatments, and engage in CQI activities, with emphasis on ethical, trauma-informed care for substance use and mental health clients.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• At least 1 year’s training and/or clinical experience providing individual, group, and family therapy in behavioral health or SUD settings.
• Current state licensure or licensure eligibility (LCAS, LMFT, LCSW, LCMHC, or equivalent).
• Dual licensure or certification in SUD treatment preferred.
• First Aid/ CPR Certification
• Crisis Intervention Certification

Responsibilities

• Assess clients thoroughly per admissions process and staff the assessment for treatment placement.
• Provide full range of therapeutic interventions: individual, group, family therapy, discharge planning, and treatment planning.
• Maintain clinical documentation, participate in CQI activities, and collaborate with care team to coordinate services.
