Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a full-time Bartender/Server for The Quadrangle Club at the University of Chicago. This dual role involves bartending and serving across restaurant, lounge, and portable bars within the facility.

Ideal candidates have three years of bartending and two years of server experience, with strong knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, and mixology, and excellent customer service. Compensation is $20 per hour with equal opportunity employment.

• Extensive liquor, beer, wine, and mixology knowledge

Responsibilities

• Prepare and be knowledgeable of standard drinks and liquors/wines
• Plan and maintain par levels for bar inventory; process daily orders
• Handle cash and bank procedures per Accounting
• Learn and use suggestive selling techniques during service
• Expedite food orders and ensure accuracy and presentation
• Monitor food quality and service levels
• Prepare dining room & lounge for service
• Process guest checks and billing via Quad POS
• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas
• Greet guests and deliver cocktails/food to tables
