Job summary

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation seeks a driven, field-based group sales professional to represent both Sunday River and Sugarloaf in Maine. You’ll structure partnerships with associations and government entities, move opportunities through the full sales cycle, and travel across Maine and New England to build lasting client relationships.

You’ll report to two VPs and leverage Boyne Resorts networks, with a base near Augusta and a competitive compensation package including uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales experience in hospitality, resort, or event/group management.
• Proven track record of hitting and exceeding group sales goals.
• Willingness to travel and work independently across Maine and New England.
• Strong organization, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
• Comfort coordinating with multiple stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth by selling group business across two resorts and managing diverse revenue streams.
• Prospect, qualify, and close new group accounts while growing existing relationships.
• Execute all stages of the group sales cycle from lead gen to contract and close.
• Conduct frequent client visits, deliver compelling proposals, and coordinate with services teams.
• Develop market strategies, maintain records in systems, and report weekly results.
