Job summary

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation and Sunday River seek a driven outside sales professional to represent both Maine resorts, building partnerships and booking group business.

Based within an hour of Portland, you’ll travel across Maine and New England, visit clients, present proposals, and coordinate with conference services to deliver memorable group experiences.

Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission reflects performance across two properties in a dynamic resort market.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of outside sales experience in hospitality, hotel, or resort.
• Proven record of hitting and exceeding group sales goals.
• Comfort working across multiple stakeholders and teams - organized, communicative, collaborative.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work remotely when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Drive Revenue Growth: Own and exceed sales and revenue goals for both resorts; prospect, qualify, and close new group business; execute all stages of the group sales cycle; meet weekly prospecting targets.
• Build Relationships That Last: Conduct frequent client visits; maintain strong accounts; present compelling proposals; coordinate with conference services for seamless handoffs.
• Think and Act Strategically: Stay current on market trends; develop data-driven market strategy for both properties; maintain records in Amadeus/Delphi; contribute to weekly sales reporting; coordinate priorities across two teams.
