Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; master's preferred.
• Valid RI teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience in diverse, multilingual school settings preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students.
• Provide direct instruction with accommodations and modifications.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion.
• Conduct assessments and maintain documentation.
• Communicate regularly with families and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams.
• Uphold bilingual education and inclusive excellence.
