Job summary

NCG Hospitality is hiring a Dual Hotel Chief Engineer for Courtyard Chandler Fashion Center in Chandler, AZ. You will lead maintenance programs, oversee repairs, manage in-house projects, and supervise contractors to ensure safety and quality across a premier hospitality property.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in hotel/building maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and proven supervisory experience. Experience with preventive maintenance and pool operations is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in hotel/building maintenance or similar environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience with preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience operating and maintaining a commercial pool (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee preventive maintenance programs for equipment, guest rooms, and property infrastructure.
• Conduct minor repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other building-related systems.
• Serve as project manager for in-house projects by gathering proposals, coordinating schedules, ensuring quality control, managing budgets, and resolving issues.
• Secure and supervise outside contractors for complex equipment and building repair needs, ensuring safety and quality.
• Preserve the property's exterior appearance, including landscaping, lawn care, and upkeep of parking areas; maintain pool and spa per policies and codes.
• Monitor and enforce safety and quality standards across maintenance operations.
