Job summary

The State of Georgia seeks a Highschool Coordinator/Recruiter to coordinate student recruitment and admissions activities for a technical college. This role supports dual enrollment, articulation programs, and paths to credentials, certificates, diplomas, or degrees.

Under general supervision, you will plan recruitment, assist with admissions, and work with high school staff to ensure smooth transitions between secondary and postsecondary education.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited college or university.
• Preferred: Three (3) years of experience in a postsecondary or secondary technical education setting.
• Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the development and implementation of dual, joint, and Accel enrollment programs and articulation at a technical college.
• Attends recruiting events to increase awareness about dual enrollment.
• Plans orientation for new dual enrollment students and parents.
• Facilitates admissions processes including placement testing, application collection, transcript transfer, and financial aid completion.
• Serves as primary contact for high school administrators, counselors, and staff to promote seamless transitions between secondary and postsecondary institutions.
• Communicates and educates secondary staff about dual enrollment and articulation matrices.
• Creates and maintains written processes for dual and joint enrollment and articulation.
• Secures signatures for dual enrollment programs and articulation agreements.
• Plans and implements collegewide recruitment activities.
• Delivers information about dual enrollment and the institution through in-person, written, electronic, or virtual means.
• Coordinates with financial aid staff regarding tuition, fees, and HOPE grants/scholarships.
• Works with Student Records to retrieve grades and transcripts and distributes to counselors.
• Facilitates awarding of articulated credit at the technical college level.
• Tracks data for dual and articulated credit enrollees and graduates.
