Academic (For Teaching Workforce Credit Courses):
This position is a face-to-face, on-site teaching opportunity at the partnering ISD .
Teaches dual enrollment courses aligned with college degree pathways and high school graduation requirements. Demonstrates skill, knowledge, and abilities in the teaching discipline and teaches assigned courses at a variety of times and locations in response to institutional needs. Makes continuous efforts to advance the quality of instruction by developing and using a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students with differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting course outcomes. Maintains appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree (or higher) in the teaching discipline or a closely related field and/or documented industry experience, licensure, certifications, and demonstrated competencies. (Some programs require a bachelor’s or master’s degree.)
