Job summary

Palomar College seeks a part-time Early College Credit Counselor to support counseling services for students in the Early College Credit program. Assignments may include day, evening, and weekend work at the San Marcos campus, off-campus locations, or via distance education.

The role involves delivering academic, personal, and career counseling, developing educational plans, and providing follow-up services to students, with teaching duties potentially added as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, career development, marriage and family therapy or marriage, family and child counseling.
• Bachelor’s degree in any of the disciplines listed in 1) above and a license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT).
• If you do not possess the specific minimum qualifications, you must complete the Equivalency form at palomar.edu/hr/equivalency-app/.

Responsibilities
