Job summary

Middle Georgia State University (MGA) seeks an Academic Advisor I - Dual Enrollment to support high school students and MGA students through comprehensive academic advising. You will guide course selection, degree planning, and enrollment processes while coordinating with High School Counselors and campus staff.

The role requires some evenings and weekend work with travel across MGA campuses as needed. A Bachelor's degree and valid driver's license are required, with a non-exempt hourly pay

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Knowledge of computer and job-related software programs.
• Skill in written and oral communication.
• Knowledge of admission, registration, and degree program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic advisement for dual enrollment and prospective students.
• Guide students through curriculum planning, major selection, and graduation requirements.
• Assist with enrollment events and outreach to high schools and campuses.
