The role requires proven leadership in housekeeping, strong financial acumen, and the ability to develop and motivate staff while maintaining brand standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• FOSSE experience in housekeeping operations is required.
• Proven leadership in housekeeping or related field, preferably hospitality.
• Strong financial acumen with budget, payroll and cost-control experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving with guest and team focus.
• Ability to develop, train and motivate a high-performing housekeeping team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple properties.
• Willingness to work diverse shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Role Summary:

White Lodging is hiring a Dual Director of Housekeeping to lead housekeeping operations across both the Courtyard Austin Downtown and Residence Inn Austin Downtown — guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and team member spaces. This role drives cleanliness standards, team development, and financial performance across both properties. Ideal for an experienced housekeeping leader with FOSSE experience and strong budget and labor management skills.

What You'll Do

• Oversee all housekeeping operations across both the Courtyard Austin Downtown and Residence Inn Austin Downtown, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and team member spaces, ensuring the highest cleanliness standards
• Lead, mentor, and develop the housekeeping team at both properties, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Implement and maintain efficient operational processes to control expenses, manage labor productivity, and optimize financial performance
• Conduct regular inspections to uphold brand and White Lodging standards, ensuring compliance with cleanliness, safety, and sustainability guidelines
• Respond to guest concerns and operational challenges, proactively resolving issues to enhance satisfaction
• Collaborate with other hotel departments across both properties to streamline communication, improve efficiency, and support overall hotel success
