Job summary

Lone Star College–Houston North Victory is seeking a Part-time PT Coordinator III for Dual Credit and Early College High School programs. You will coordinate communication between area high schools and academic divisions to schedule dual credit courses and act as a liaison for ISD personnel.

The role requires at least an Associate's degree and 1 year of related experience, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Knowledge of Texas dual credit regulations is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and at least 1 year of related work experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of dual credit and early college high school programs and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication between area high schools and academic divisions to facilitate building dual credit course sections.
• Provide faculty and staff with required assistance and communication between the college and high schools to support efficient management of dual credit sections.
• Utilize current technology and software to access data to support dual credit and ECHS programming.
• Maintain records of communication between LSC-K and area high schools.
• Run appropriate reports and create schedules for dual credit and ECHS programs.
• Facilitate and assist in communication with dual credit instructors to collect grades, course syllabi, etc.
• Assist area high schools in developing and expanding their dual credit programs.
• Assist the Dean of Academic Partnerships and Initiatives as needed to grow and support the dual credit and ECHS programming.
• Maintain a current knowledge of Texas law, THECB policies and other policies, practices and procedures governing dual credit and early college high school
• Assist dual credit and ECHS students and parents when necessary to answer questions and provide support in navigating the college environment
• Assists with office duties; updating and maintaining limited databases, running reports, filing paperwork
• Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned
