Job summary

Illinois School District U-46 seeks a Paraeducator - Dual Credit Classroom Supervisor to monitor and support students in concurrent dual credit classes at Streamwood High School. You will ensure technology in the classroom functions properly and act as liaison between high school students and the dual credit teacher at another site.

Responsibilities include reinforcing instruction for individuals or groups, reporting student behavior, and collaborating with the teacher to prepare materials.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
• Ability to set up and troubleshoot classroom technology daily.
• Maintain confidentiality of student, staff, and department information.

Responsibilities

• Implement instructional support under supervision of the certified teacher.
• Document and report student behavior as directed by the teacher.
• Prepare and maintain teaching materials with the teacher.
• Manage student behavior to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Set up and troubleshoot classroom technology daily.
• Attend meetings and staff development activities as assigned.
