Job summary

Illinois School District U-46 is seeking an Appendix F stipend position at Streamwood High School to build and maintain a high-quality class council focused on student-centered activities and building involvement. You will provide opportunities for students and work closely with the athletics/activities director.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage events, meetings, and finances while promoting a positive school culture and student development.

• Communicate effectively with parents, students, administrators, teachers, and community leaders.

• Maintain equipment related to the activity.
• Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance.
• Create an environment supportive of physical, social, and emotional development of students.
• Foster a harassment-free culture through constructive feedback and respectful communication.
• Take necessary precautions to protect students and property.
• Apply student discipline per the Student Code of Conduct and handbook.
• Lead twice-monthly meetings and participate in Homecoming/spirit week events.
• Coordinate two junior class events (Prom+) and manage finances and paperwork for the organization.
