Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve routine maintenance issues.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Safely use basic hand tools, power tools and maintenance equipment.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, equipment and building systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, associates and management.
• Maintain facilities and common areas in safe, operating condition.
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and other maintenance tasks.
• Complete work orders and document activities.
• Support preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Follow safety and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with urgent property needs and emergency maintenance as needed.
