Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Railroad operating experience preferred.
• Training to obtain Certified Locomotive Engineer and Conductor licenses under 49 CFR Part 240/242.
• Pass DOT physical and maintain DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Willing to work unusual hours, weekends and overtime.
• 2 years of customer service experience demonstrating welcoming interactions.

Responsibilities

• Operate CRV safely and efficiently per RTDC rules.
• Provide customer service information to passengers.
• Report accidents and incidents and complete paperwork.
• Coordinate with security during emergencies.
• Maintain readiness for duty and ensure on-time train operation.
