Job summary

Regional Transportation District (RTD) seeks a qualified Rail Operator/Conductor to safely manage Commuter Rail Vehicles (CRV) on the N Line and related duties. You will follow RTD operating rules, perform pre-service inspections, and coordinate with dispatch to keep trains on schedule.

The role requires passing a two-month training program to obtain FRA locomotive engineer and conductor licenses, plus meeting DOT medical and safety requirements, with flexibility for odd hours and overtime when

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operates CRV in a safe and efficient manner according to RTDC operating rules.
• Provides customer service to passengers and ensures on-time trains.
• Reports unusual occurrences and completes required reports.
• Manually operates track switches and performs switching as needed.
