Job summary

New Balance Athletics, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a software team for our ecommerce platform in St. Louis. You will drive delivery of high‑quality, scalable solutions with cross‑functional partners across Product, QA, Operations and Platform teams.

The role emphasizes leadership, DevOps practices, security and performance. You will mentor engineers, participate in Agile ceremonies, and help shape the technology roadmap while promoting a collaborative, high‑performing culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, CS, or equivalent field.
Extensive experience with web and integration tech and security best practices.
Strong communication, leadership and agile execution skills.

Responsibilities

Lead an engineering team of ~10 engineers to deliver scalable eCommerce solutions.
Drive alignment between engineering efforts and business goals with Product & Ops teams.
Improve development processes and promote best practices and reliability.
Collaborate with Operations, SRE, and Platform teams to resolve production issues.
Mentor engineers, support career growth, and ensure on-time delivery.
