Job summary

New Balance Athletics, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a software development team for the eCommerce platform in St. Louis. You will work with Product, Quality and cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires 10+ years in engineering, 4+ years of management, and strong experience with web technologies and enterprise applications. Hybrid/onsite work in St. Louis, MO is expected with a competitive pay package.

Qualifications

10+ years of technical/engineering experience in operations or software development.
4+ years of management experience leading technical professionals.
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience with web and integration technologies (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, .Net, C#, Java, PHP, REST, SOA, microservices).
Experience with Microsoft Azure and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
Experience designing enterprise B2C eCommerce or ERP/CRM solutions.
Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead an engineering team of ~10 engineers and drive alignment with company goals.
Collaborate with Product, Quality, Operations, SRE and Platform teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Promote Agile processes and continuous improvement across development cycles.
Provide coaching, feedback and career development for engineers.
Lead technology decisions and ensure security, reliability and on-time delivery.
