Job summary

Collins Digital Technology in the United States is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the Prime Program within the PMO. You will guide cross-functional teams across engineering, software development, and manufacturing to ensure projects deliver on time and within budget.

The role demands strong stakeholder communication, financial oversight, risk management, and the ability to partner with senior leaders to align resources and milestones across a global digital transformation program.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a University Degree with 8+ years relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; US citizen or green card holder.
  • Willing to travel 25% of the time.
  • 3+ years’ experience with PM oversight of infrastructure and software initiatives.
  • 3+ years’ experience building and managing MS Project schedules.
  • Demonstrated program management experience preferred.
  • Experience with program management systems including resource scheduling and cost controls, Planview preferred.
  • Experience in government and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of aerospace policies, procedures, and system requirements preferred.
  • Experience interfacing with internal customers preferred.
  • Experience using change management frameworks and methodologies preferred.
  • Understanding of digital transformation topics and technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Prime Program within Collins Digital Technology’s Program Management Office.
  • Ensure effective execution of committed projects across the portfolio.
  • Drive processes and cadences for scope, risk and opportunity management, financial reporting, reviews, issue escalation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Manage program financials with controllers, financial analysts, and functional leads.
  • Analyze data to ensure teams are delivering to plan.
  • Partner with Digital leaders on resource assignments and integrated schedules and milestones.
  • Lead teams in developing and implementing risk mitigations and resolving issues.
  • Lead teams in developing effective stakeholder communications.
  • Foster relationships with Digital, Collins, and RTX peers worldwide.
  • Lead multi-million-dollar projects, executive communications, program reviews, and cross-organizational governance.

Requirements
