Job summary

Misericordia is hiring Developmental Training Instructors to design lessons and build relationships with community partners while supporting residents with developmental disabilities. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am–4pm, with a pay rate of $21.00–$22.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• DTIs must have a minimum of one year experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities.
• DTIs must be able to complete 4 weeks of training upon hire.
• Bachelor’s degree required for DTI position
• Valid driver’s license
• Good driving record and comfortable driving vehicles of all sizes
• DTIs will develop lesson plans, goals and objectives through creating relationships with community partners, while interacting with ease and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans, goals and objectives through community partner relationships.
• Interact with residents with ease and confidence.
• Assist with daily activities and ensure safety and well-being of residents.
• Commit to scheduled hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm.

Hourly Pay Rate:$21.00 - $22.00 an hour
