Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience. Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach, read customer cues, match their needs with an elevated level of service, and meet the customer where they are at.
• Share the benefits of the DSW Loyalty program and enroll new members.
• Answer questions regarding product and complete customer transactions through in-store sales or digital orders.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe environment for customers and staff, including cleaning, organizing, and stocking as per standards.
• Handle inbound freight, prepare merchandise, and organize the stockroom.
• Complete fulfillment functions, including locating items, inspecting, packaging, and labeling for pickup/delivery.
• Operate the register, handle cash, and ensure transaction accuracy.
• Partner with the CEL for escalated customer service issues.
• Participate actively in team meetings and training, support inclusivity, and be receptive to feedback.

Required Skills

• Availability to meet the business needs.
• Professional, friendly, and customer-focused demeanor.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with store technology (Register, iPhone, Calculator).
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 100% of shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
