Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience.
- Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach, read customer cues, match their needs with an elevated level of service, and meet the customer where they are at.
- Share the benefits of the DSW Loyalty program and enroll new members.
- Answer questions regarding product and complete customer transactions through in-store sales or digital orders.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe environment for customers and staff, including cleaning, organizing, and restocking.
- Receive inbound freight, prepare, and display merchandise according to DSW standards, complete markdowns, and organize the stockroom.
- Complete all functions of the fulfillment process, including locating items, inspecting, packaging, and labeling for pickup/delivery.
- Use company tools to check product availability and assist customers.
- Follow all asset protection policies and procedures.
- Process customer transactions accurately, handle cash, and operate the register.
- Partner with the Customer Experience Leader for escalated customer situations.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training, support inclusivity, and be receptive to feedback.

- Proficiency with technology such as registers, iPhones, and calculators.
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 100% of the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.
