Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach, read cues, match needs with service, and personalize the experience.
- Share benefits of the DSW Loyalty program and enroll new members.
- Answer questions regarding products and complete transactions via in-store sales or digital orders.
- Maintain a positive shopping environment: Keep the store neat, clean, and safe. This includes clearing trash, maintaining cleanliness, and organizing stock.
- Receive inbound freight, prepare merchandise, complete markdowns, and organize the stockroom.
- Leverage in-store and digital services: Complete fulfillment processes, locate items, inspect condition, and ensure readiness for pickup/delivery.
- Use company tools to check product availability and assist customers.
- Customer transactions: Follow policies, ensure accuracy, operate the register, and partner with leadership for escalations.
- Follow all asset protection policies.
- Bring energy and teamwork: Participate in meetings, be receptive to feedback, and support inclusivity.
